Free IT Security Tools from Probado
Our latest security tool to help businesses in Yorkshire and Lancashire protect themselves from unwanted cyber security threats is in its final testing phase of development. The tool designed and built in conjunction with the University of Huddersfield will allow businesses to quickly assess potential threats to their business from cyber criminals.
Access will be provided to the tool from our website www.probado.co.uk completely free of charge and we have placed great emphasis on the resulting report being meaningful and business friendly unlike more traditional tools. Our service is secure and confidential and delivered from our secure facilities in Manchester.
The National Crime Agency estimates that the cost of cyber crime to the UK economy is billions of pounds per annum – and growing. Moreover, the accelerating pace of technology and criminal cyber capability development currently outpaces the UK’s collective response to cyber crime. This ‘cyber arms race’ is likely to be an enduring challenge and an effective response requires collaborative action from government, law enforcement, industry regulators and critically, business leaders.
Why are we doing this? We aim to raise awareness with the SME business community and where appropriate help with Cybersecurity Essentials and Essentials Plus accreditations or ISO 27001.
